abstract = {CONTEXT Nocturnal enuresis or bedwetting is the most common type of urinary incontinence in children. It has significant psychological effects on both the child and the family. Enuresis nocturna is defined as the inability to hold urine during the night in children who have completed toilet training. It is termed as being "primary" if no continence has ever been achieved or "secondary if it follows at least 6 months of dry nights. The aim of this review was to assemble the pathophysiological background and general information about nocturnal enuresis. EVIDENCE ACQUISITION This review was performed by evaluating the literature on nocturnal enuresis published between 1970 and 2015, available via PubMed and using the keywords "nocturnal enuresis," "incontinence," "pediatric," "review," and "treatment." RESULTS Children with nocturnal enuresis produce urine at higher rates during the night, and may have lower bladder capacities. Some children with nocturnal enuresis may also have daytime urgency, frequency, and urinary incontinence. Treatment includes aggressive treatment of accompanying constipation or urinary tract infections, behavioral changes, and medical therapy. Alarm therapy remains the first-line treatment modality for primary nocturnal enuresis. High rates of patient compliance and relapse mean that alternative treatments remain on the agenda. CONCLUSIONS Nocturnal enuresis is a common problem that has multifaceted effects on both the child and the family. Due to multiple etiologic factors, nocturnal enuresis is still not clearly defined.},

abstract = {Orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) based relay assisted networks are important for current and next-generation wireless networks since they have great potential to provide high data rate to users at anywhere, anytime. Towards that end, fixed relay assisted OFDMA networks are commonly utilized by the operators. However, they require supplementary costly infrastructure. User-relay assisted OFDMA-based networks are promising candidates to fulfill the demanding coverage and capacity requirements of future wireless networks in a cost efficient way. Thus, they have become popular as a complementary solution to fixed relay networks. Generic frame structure that divides the resource allocation frame into two subframes is mostly used in the literature for fixed and user-relay assisted networks in which it is assumed that a user can act as a destination and a relay simultaneously. However, it may be difficult to apply this assumption to practical systems because of the limitations of the current transceiver design. Thus, we propose a novel frame structure for user-relay assisted OFDMA-based wireless networks in order to cope with these drawbacks. The efficient radio resource management algorithms including relay selection and resource allocation are developed in order to exploit the opportunities of the proposed frame structure.},

abstract = {In the next generation of wireless communication, adaptive resource allocation techniques will play an important role to improve quality of service and spectral efficiency. In order to employ adaptive fairness scheduling for multiple-input single-output (MISO) orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA), the channel state information (CSI) belonging to all users is required at the base station. However, the amount of feedback increases with the number of users, transmit antennas and subchannels. Therefore, it is important to perform a user selection at the receiver side without cooperation among the users and to quantize the CSI. In this article, the reduced feedback channel designs are examined for MISO–OFDMA systems while providing fairness between the users. In order to reduce the feedback rate, we choose the users considering their norm and orthogonality properties as well as their location in the cell. In order to limit the feedback rate, channel direction information is quantized by designing a specific codebook thanks to the proposed criterion. We obtain an expression to determine the amount of required feedback information for MISO–OFDMA systems to support more than one beam per subchannel for a given number of users, subchannels and transmit antennas. The performance results of the reduced feedback channel designs are evaluated for fair scheduling in wireless channels.},

abstract = {Since traffic diversity and volume increase with growing popularity of mobile applications, there is the strong need to manage the traffic carried by networks. Software defined networking can manage network while enabling new services by employing traffic management whose goal is to maximize the utility objective while satisfying given requirements. In this paper, we propose an efficient routing to minimize the cost based on power consumption determined by the number of active switches in a software defined networks. An optimum solution obtained by genetic algorithm and a reduced complexity routing approach are proposed while satisfying throughput requirements of flows for given constraints on link capacities in the network. The strategy for partitioning quantization bits between serving and interfering base stations affects the performance of the cooperative networks which is quite sensitive to the quality of the channel state information. abstract = {Load balancing and traffic management are the critical needs in cell selection decision for a better and seamless communication demands in professional mobile radios. For the cases where cell selection algorithms do not consider the traffic load, there may be call drops due to the congestion in networks or longer call setup times for the users. These undesired consequences can cause dramatic quality degradation especially for the emergency cases or public safety services. In this paper, we propose two algorithms for Tetra Trunk based professional mobile radios by considering both traffic load and received signal strength indication (RSSI) in order to reduce the significant delays while establishing transmissions. The proposed full set cell selection algorithm is prioritized to reduce the call setup time for the mobile users and the proposed reduced set cell selection algorithm is focused on minimizing the number of RSSI measurements which causes significant delay in practical professional mobile radio. We illustrate the performance results in terms of delay for Tetra Trunk based professional mobile radio.},
