Within the scope of activities where we aim to improve our students’ self-development, a training seminar was held in our department on 27-28 December 2021.

The topics covered in the training organized with the contributions of the IEEE IZTECH student branch and our department are as follows:

• Structure of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), application areas, selection criteria, communication protocols between PLC and operator panels, PLC and human interface communication environments.

In the training given by Mr. Ergün Gözek, who has more than twenty years of experience in Industrial Automation, applications related to the topics covered were also implemented.
