One of our PhD students, Mehmet Çalı, successfully defended his thesis titled “Efficient Capture and Streaming of Omnidirectional Stereoscopic Video” on July 4, 2025. Under the guidance of his thesis advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şevket Gümüştekin, this study aims to deliver high quality 3D perception with a proposed interpolation and calibration techniques for multi-omnidirectional camera systems. We sincerely congratulate Mehmet Çalı on this achievement and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
