Our doctoral student, Ceren Özkal, successfully defended her thesis entitled “APPLIED INVESTIGATIONS ON ELECTROMAGNETIC INVERSE SCATTERING PROBLEMS” on June 26, 2026. This study, carried out under the guidance of thesis advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih YAMAN, aims to develop systems that can detect the location, size, shape, and electrical properties of hidden targets (brain tumour detection and metal objects buried in sand) in lossy dielectric environments by integrating microwave imaging techniques with artificial intelligence methods. We sincerely congratulate Ceren Özkal on this achievement and wish her continued success in her future career.
