Berna Özbek, Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Izmir Institute of Technology, has been awarded of Horizon 2020 MSCA-RISE-2018 (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) Research Grant. The project she particilated is titled as “RECENT: Ultra-Dense Unsupervised Heterogeneous Wireless Cloud Coded Networks for 5G/B5G”. Total budget of the project is 897000 Euro with IzTech’s portion of 216000 Euro. The length of the project is 48 moths. Participating countries to the project are Portland (Project Coordinator), Finland, England and Turkey. We congratulate Professor Özbek with her success.
